France 2030 supports KÔL’s clinical study in AMD

Laboratoires KÔL has received French government funding under France 2030 to support SKY2, a clinical research programme dedicated to AMD.

The study is evaluating aganirsen, an antisense oligonucleotide given as eye drops, in addition to standard treatment with intravitreal injections. In particular, it aims to assess whether the interval between injections can be extended while maintaining clinical efficacy.

The support granted under France 2030, operated by Bpifrance, will help develop SKY2 and research into new therapeutic approaches in ophthalmology.

A new milestone for this clinical research programme, which addresses an important challenge in the management of AMD.
